Thanksgiving in Barcelona

Thanksgiving is without a doubt one of the most awaited north american holidays, but as in every local celebration it’s not usual to find it anywhere else outside Canada or the United States. However, if you happen to visit Barcelona during Thanksgiving this next November the 27th, there are a few places that organize dinners so you can celebrate it just as if you were at home.

Sadly, there is no Black Friday of Thanksgiving parade either, nevertheless we have the Shopping Night Barcelona, a big annual event where all the shops at Passeig de Gràcia (from Plaça Catalunya up till Diagonal Avenue) remain open until 1:00, that even though it doesn’t coincide with Thanksgiving (it takes place on December the 4th), we can call it Black Friday anyway.

Getting back on subject, let’s find out the Barcelona restaurants that offer dinner on Thanksgivings night.

Whether you’re looking for a brunch or a fancy dinner, the California-born owners at DosTrece offer everything you can imagine, including Thanksgiving! Make a reservation and head to Carme Nº 40 for a tasty menu that includes stuffed turkey, pumpkin soup and mashed potatoes with cranberry sauce from 19:00 to 23:30.
